Technology use at MIT Academy is governed by state and federal laws.
Federal law permits MIT Academy to provide consent to the collection of personal information to web site operators on behalf of our students. This eliminates the need for parents to provide direct consent to each individual digital service that the school utilizes. During enrollment, parents acknowledge their consent for MIT Academy to provide personal identifying information for their child as required by the website owners and operators listed below, in addition to any programs and services that MIT Academy may add during the academic year. Parents also release the school from any claims and liabilities that may arise in connection to the services used below. Further details can be found at the FTC website (FTC - COPPA) and the COPPA Compliance form found in the student handbook.
The list below include the various websites, online resources and applications utilized by students at MIT Academy. The privacy policies and/or terms of service for these sites are linked and have been implemented to protect users of their services.
Please contact the technology department and the administrator of the school for more information.
